1. I'm getting sick. Josh is warming me up some chicken and dumplings right now. I have a feeling I will have no voice very soon.

2. I received my annual e-mail from Kathy today, trying to figure out whether or not I'll be back this summer. I'm almost positive that I need to take time off, I just don't know if I will be able to tell Kathy that that's what I want. Too much attachment to the place for me to leave it behind.

3. Got a new phone yesterday. Much nicer. It actually has a camera. Woot.

But now I have food.

Hi, although this has nothing to do with your post, i've been meaning to ask you--what are you studying at BU? I just completed my first semester, and to be honest, I don't know how anyone has ever survived it.

I am studying Russian and Russian literature. It is certainly a demanding school, and everything runs a little backwards, but I love my tiny little department. My language class as of last semester only had 7 people and that was considered remarkable enrollment.

Wow that's amazing--I would love smaller classes--I'm studying English and literature and most of the classes that I have taken/am taking have well over 200 students in them which results in my papers being graded by grad students who don't know anything about teaching or grading papers. :sigh: We should definitely get together sometime--now, in addition to being socially inept, we have BU in common too. :)

Ouch. I generally refuse to take any of those classes. I've only ever had one class in the lecture halls and even that I think only had 40 students in it. I do a lot of literature classes as well, but even most of those are Russian related so the class size tends to be much smaller and am thus unaffected by the whole problem with grad students grading papers. In fact I think I've only ever taken one class that even had a TA.

But yes we should definitely get together sometime. I'm on campus quite a bit and my boyfriend's house (where I nearly always am) is incredibly close.

Tee Hee. Of course I do. Speaking of the Misadventures I think I still have them. I better still have them, though after the flood I still don't know what all I lost from my room.
